Abstract Pure and Ag doped TiO 2 nanoparticles were synthesis via a hydrothermal process have anti-bacterial activity examined against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus. The effect of doping on to rutile phase transformation was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM),(EDX), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, (UV). average size the in range (12.6)nm, +Ag had an (12)nm. antibacterial Tio evaluated E. coli,S. aureus using release cellular materials method. results showed that as novel DNA-mediated agent. observed destroy bacterial cells permeating nucleic acid cytoplasmic membrane, resulting loss cell wall integrity, damage, increased cell-wall permeability.
